An application for the Cary Woman’s Club Scholarship will be available below on this page for 2018 some time in December/January. Scholarship applications and additional information are also available in high schools and community colleges as well as through the Cary Woman’s Club’s Education Community Service Program.
Cary Woman’s Club Scholarship Information
The Cary Woman’s Club offers this scholarship to be awarded to a Cary area high school senior. This scholarship is based on the candidate’s character, scholastic record, leadership ability and the need for financial assistance. The following rules apply:
- Applicant must be a member of the senior class in an accredited North Carolina school.
- Applicant must have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or above for their Junior and Senior year.
- Applicant must plan to attend a four-year college or university in the state of North Carolina.
The winner of the Cary Woman’s Club Scholarship continues to the second level of competition, which offers an additional scholarship. Should the student win at the District level, he/she will compete for a General Federation of Women’s Club state scholarship.

Cary Woman’s Club–Mature Woman’s Scholarship
In addition, the Cary Woman’s Club also provides a “mature woman” scholarship. This scholarship is given annually to a mature woman who needs financial help in furthering her education and is going back to school to get a degree.
